Frozen Sprite Gummy Bears

Ingredients

300 grams gummy bears

500 ml Sprite or other lemon-lime soda

Method

1. Separate the Gummy Bears

Place the gummy bears in a wide, deep bowl. Pull apart any that are stuck together so they absorb the soda evenly.

2. Add the Sprite

Gently pour the Sprite over the gummy bears, making sure they are all fully submerged.

3. Soak in the Fridge

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, ideally overnight, so the gummy bears absorb the soda and swell.

4. Stir Halfway Through

Gently stir the gummy bears halfway through soaking so the ones on top also soak up the liquid and swell evenly.

5. Drain

Pour the gummy bears into a strainer or scoop them out with a slotted spoon. Let them drain for a few minutes to remove excess Sprite.

6. Arrange on a Tray

Line a tray with parchment paper. Spread the gummy bears out in a single layer so they don't touch each other.

7. Freeze

Place the tray in the freezer for at least 2–3 hours, until completely frozen.

8. Serve

Serve straight from the freezer for the best crunchy, chewy texture.
