Oatmeal Breakfast Wrap

Ingredients

For the Oatmeal Wrap:

60 grams rolled oats, 2 large eggs, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Filling:

4 slices deli turkey or ham, 2 lettuce leaves, 2 large tomato slices, 2 slices cheese, 1 tablespoon ketchup

Method

1. Add the Oats

Place the rolled oats in a large non-stick frying pan. Spread them into a thin, even layer across the base of the pan.

2. Season the Oats

Sprinkle the salt evenly over the oats.

3. Add the Eggs

Crack the eggs directly over the oats, spacing them apart so they can be distributed evenly.

4. Combine the Eggs and Oats

Break the yolks with a spatula and gently spread the eggs across the pan, combining them with the oats to create an even, round layer.

5. Season and Cook

Sprinkle with black pepper. Cook over medium-low heat for approximately 3–4 minutes, or until the egg is set and the base holds together.

6. Flip the Wrap

Carefully lift the oatmeal wrap with a wide spatula and flip it over. Cook the other side for another 1–2 minutes.

7. Make a Cut

Using the edge of a spatula or a knife, make one straight cut from the bottom edge of the wrap to its center. This will allow the wrap to be folded into quarters.

8. Add the Turkey or Ham

Arrange the deli turkey or ham over the upper-left quarter of the wrap.

9. Add the Vegetables

Place the lettuce leaves and tomato slices over the upper-right quarter.

10. Add the Cheese and Ketchup

Place the cheese slices over the lower-right quarter. Drizzle the ketchup over the remaining lower-left quarter.

11. Fold the Wrap

Starting with the ketchup-covered quarter, fold it upward over the turkey or ham. Fold it across the lettuce and tomato, then fold it down over the cheese to create a layered triangular wrap.

12. Serve

Transfer the folded wrap to a serving plate. Cut it in half and serve immediately while warm.
